Exero Claims provides background and prior claims research in support of insurance claims throughout the Czech Republic.
Research is focused on information relevant to the claim and the requirements of the instructing client.
Background Investigations
Research may include:
- Identity and address information
- Business ownership and affiliations
- Employment and professional information
- Property interests
- Insolvency and bankruptcy information
- Court and public records
- Publicly available information concerning previous incidents or disputes
- Other information relevant to the authorized investigation
The scope of the research is based on the purpose of the assignment and the sources lawfully available.
Prior Claims Research
Where appropriate sources are available, research may identify information concerning previous claims, incidents, injuries, losses or related matters.
The availability of prior claims information varies according to the source and circumstances.
Exero Claims does not represent that it has access to a universal claims database or that every previous claim can be identified.
Verification of Information
Background investigation can also be used to verify information already contained in a claim file.
This may include an address, employer, company affiliation, business interest, property interest or other information relevant to the investigation.
Where information cannot be independently confirmed, the limitation is identified in the report.
Research Sources
Research may use Czech public records, official registers, appropriate commercial databases and other lawful information sources.
Where a paid record or database search is required, it can be obtained when authorized by the client.
Supporting Field Investigations
Background research can be conducted before or during surveillance and other field investigation.
Information developed through research may assist with identifying relevant locations, businesses or other matters requiring further investigation.
Reporting
Reports distinguish confirmed information from information that could not be independently verified.
Sources and relevant limitations are identified where appropriate.
Privacy and Data Protection
Background investigations are conducted for an identified purpose and with regard to applicable Czech and EU privacy and data protection requirements.
The fact that information is publicly available does not automatically make it relevant to an insurance investigation. Research should remain connected to the authorized purpose of the assignment.
